Competences, skills and techniques of a soft skills trainer 2300-MS2-TKM
The module comprises a set of thematically related courses aimed at developing the knowledge, skills, and competences necessary for designing and conducting soft skills workshops in work with adult learners.
The content of the module includes theories of adult learning, mechanisms for initiating and sustaining educational activity, the needs and expectations of adults in the learning process, principles of workshop design, the creation of session plans and schedules, as well as methods for diagnosing and planning educational solutions focused on fostering creativity, independence, communication, and engagement.
The module also introduces digital tools for educational work, edutainment methods, outdoor education techniques, the basics of copyright and intellectual property protection in educational contexts, and research methods supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of one’s own professional activities.
An integral part of the module is the analysis and evaluation of original soft skills workshop projects.

Knowledge:
– Understanding of selected theories explaining the learning process, conditions, mechanisms, and factors influencing the initiation and continuation of educational activity, as well as effective learning by adults (K_W05), (K_W07), (K_W09).
– Familiarity with research methods (ADI, RAPS models) enabling logistical planning, identification of business indicators, and analysis of the effectiveness of educational activities (K_W03), (K_W10).
– Knowledge of principles and stages of workshop planning, modern and effective methods and didactic tools supporting engagement and active construction of knowledge, as well as the development of participants’ soft skills (K_W01), (K_W07), (K_W12).

Assessment criteria
Participation in the module examination will be possible only after successfully completing all courses comprising the module.
The basis for passing the module will be the preparation of a scenario covering 8 hours of original workshop sessions on the subject of soft skills, followed by a presentation of the project and a discussion with the examiner.
Assessment criteria:
- A thoroughly prepared scenario, including a transcript of each statement
- Clearly and engagingly formulated learning objectives and outcomes
- Logically and accurately prepared content, supported by reliable sources of knowledge
- Appropriate selection of didactic methods
- Appropriate selection of didactic tools
- Multimedia presentation prepared in accordance with established guidelines
- Substantive preparedness – readiness to conduct the session on the day of the examination
- Project presentation (body language, fluency of speech).
