SDEZ - Specialization Module - SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL ADVISORY 2300-MS2-SDEZ
Specialization Module "School education and vocational counseling" consists of cycle of such subjects: the lecture introducing 'educational and vocational counseling in the educational system' methodical subject 'Analysis of the labor market and educational-vocational advisory', workshop of 'Negotiations and mediation skills', and Practice in vocationall offices. In total, the class module consists of 120 hours of teaching.

Student -
Knowledge:
1. has knowledge in the field of humanities and social sciences including teaching and educational problems in conjunction with zawodoznawstwem,
2. knows the content related to vocational orientation, counseling and guidance,
3. have knowledge of: purpose, content and training programs, training process, forms, methods and means of training, the conditions of effectiveness of vocational training
4. is familiar with tools for diagnosing predisposition professional youth at various stages of mental and physical development,
5. has extensive knowledge of the possible paths of educational development of young people, systems and fields of education,
6. has knowledge of teaching methods of diagnosis, with particular emphasis on diagnostic factors in the development of educational and professional
7. is familiar with tools for diagnosing predisposition professional youth at various stages of development and mental.
Abilities:
1. is able to use the specialized terminology and clearly communicate to representatives of different social and professional specialists,
2. can independently acquire knowledge and develop skills using a variety of sources, including information technology,
3. is able to public speaking, clearly and precisely formulate messages both in individual interviews with students, parents, teachers, representatives of organizations working with schools, as well as the to a broader audience,
4. can use the theoretical knowledge base for self-analysis of trials of educational problems,
5. can create plans, schedules, prioritize the tasks in the work for the student and the school and non-school environment.
Social competence:
1. is aware of the importance of behavior in a professional manner and respect the rules of professional ethics and respect for multiculturalism
2. understands the need and knows opportunities for lifelong learning and improving skills and builds a path of personal and professional development,
3. has a competence in communication uses of educational and communication with specialists,
4. have the basic skills to allow professional organization to plan and implement activities for the student.
Assessment criteria
Students who completed all subjects of the module "School educational and vocational advisory" is passing exam.
Practical placement
Practice in Vocation Offices (30 h)
