MS2-Specialisation module 2: Methods of activities in animation and unformal education 2300-MS2/ASK-L1
The module consists of subjects on various methods of activities characteristic of non-formal education and animation, from among which the student chooses five. In addition, he implements a mandatory subject - an animation project.
A student who has passed all the components of the module is admitted to the exam. A student with an average score of more than 4.5 is exempted from the individual oral part of the exam.
The module exam takes the form of a presentation of the course and the effects of the animation project to the committee consisting of the persons conducting the module components and the students of the specialization. After the presentation, project teams are asked questions about the project.
The next stage is an individual oral answer to three questions from the pool of questions covering the issues from this module. The final grade is the average of the project presentation and oral questions.

The student knows:
- various methods of supporting the development of participants in activities in the field of animation, informal, non-formal and alternative education,
- the specificity of the functioning of a formal and informal group, recognizes the occurring group processes, analyzes group dynamics, social roles and the resulting methods of diagnosing and supporting the development of an individual and a group,
- history, structure, functions and principles of creating and operating institutions in the field of socio-cultural animation, informal, non-formal and alternative education within three sectors,
- the importance of emphasizing creativity, innovation and creativity in various ways of action specific to socio-cultural animation, informal, non-formal and alternative education,
- legal and ethical possibilities of organizing various forms of activity in the field of animation and non-formal education,
- detailed occupational health and safety rules specific to various forms of activity in the area of animation and non-formal education
The student is able to:
- use various sources of knowledge, "good practices" in the area of animation and informal, non-formal and alternative education; subject them to constructive criticism and select the appropriate forms of work for the target group;
- analyze the shortcomings and see the possibilities of expanding knowledge and skills in the area of animation and informal, non-formal and alternative education,
- design, conduct and evaluate an animation project
choose your professional development direction based on the catalog of methods and forms of work of the animator,
- plan and organize team work responsibly and appropriately to the abilities of individual people by assigning tasks, cooperate with other entities, interact with others as a team member, assume various roles in the project team,
- use "good practices" of foreign-language project teams,
The student is ready to:
- evaluation of implemented projects, drawing constructive conclusions for future animation work,
- using the knowledge of experts from various fields when designing activities in the field of socio-cultural animation, informal, non-formal and alternative education,
- observing the professional ethics of an animator and educator in the field of non-formal education during undertaken activities,
- presenting an appropriate attitude during activities in the area of animation and informal, non-formal and alternative education.
Assessment criteria
Student receives a grade for each of the classes in the module (it is not entered into the USOS - only for internal calculation within the module). Lecturers determine the forms for accomplishing particular classes.
A student who has completed all the classes within the module is admitted to the exam. Students with average more than 4.5 of all classes in the module are exempted from the oral answer during the exam (receive grade 5 for this part).
The exam consists of two parts: presentation of a animation project prepared in teams and oral individual answer.

The literature is appropriate to the specificity of the workshops that make up the module and results from the nature of the animation project.
