MS2 - Dance in teacher's work 2300-MS2/ASK-L-TA
Classes will present selected dance techniques. Students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of early dances, classical ballet, ballroom, folk and modern dance, as well as how to use dance in therapy. Classes will have a practical dimension - the presented dance techniques will be combined with learning the basic steps, and each class will begin with the teaching of one integration dance. Students will also have the opportunity to share with others their skills in the selected dance technique or propose other than the above.

Knowledge
Student:
- knows what functions the dance performed over the centuries;
- knows the basic dance styles;
- knows what forms of dance can be used when working with a group depending on its age and level of advancement.
Skills:
Student:
- recognizes basic dance styles;
- can present two combinations of two different dance techniques;
- can perform three integration dances;
- is able to plan and conduct classes using dance as a didactic means.
competence
Student:
- appreciates the importance of dance and movement in teaching;
- understands the need for continuous improvement of his pedagogical skills - also in the field of physical forms;
- understands the need to adapt forms of work with movement depending on the preferences and level of skills of the group;
- shows a strong sense of proposing forms of movement to the mentees, notices and accepts their attitude towards dance.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing is:
- participation in classes with a minimum of 10 different dance techniques
- working out dance and movement scenarios in teams of 2-3 people
- conducting classes in a selected dance technique or conducting a fragment of classes based on a written script or undertaking a dance challenge by the entire group (development and presentation of thematic choreography in a public forum by the entire group).
From the subject, the student receives a grade - for internal settlements under the module "Methods of activities in animation and informal education". Obtaining an average rating of more than 4,5 from all subjects in the module exempts from the oral part of the exam.
