Outdoor and adventure education 2300-MS2/ASK-L-PP
The aim of the classes is to personally experience the method of outdoor and adventure education through participation in training workshops. During the course, students will participate in a number of practical forms; field games, exercises, simulations.
Students will have the opportunity to face challenges at various levels, using various equipment. Classes give the opportunity to test interesting forms of work in the group forum. Practical experience will be complemented by theoretical knowledge in the field of outdoor and adventure education.
The workshops will introduce the areas in which adventure education is used, at which age groups it is intended, and what forms and methods of work it uses.

- can review Polish projects for application of outdoor and adventure education theory

Assessment criteria
- presence at a minimum of 5 workshops
- preparing a draft of classes using basic concepts of outdoor / adventure education
- conducting an one-hour classes according to the written scenario
Student receives a grade from the classes - only for internal calculation within the module. Obtaining an average grade of more than 4.5 of all subjects in the module ‘Methods of activities in animation and unformal education’ excuses from the speaking part of the modular examination.
