Styles of thinking, acting, and learning 2300-MPiB-SM
During the classes, students will learn about various typologies of preferences regarding thinking, acting and learning, as well as teaching. They will learn to recognize and analyze their preferences in these areas, using diagnostic tests and practical exercises. At the same time, the classes put a lot of emphasis on developing critical thinking skills - students will assess the credibility of popular theories regarding learning preferences and their practical applications, based on scientific evidence. The teaching process is based on experience: participants first test given concepts in practice and then analyze them. Students will also gain skills in dealing with stress related to studying and exams and designing classes adapted to groups with diverse learning preferences. During teamwork and simulation of social situations, they will have the opportunity to better recognize their own style of leadership and cooperation.
