Project module 2300-MPRJ
The aim of the module is to prepare and introduce students to independent implementation of animation projects under the supervision of a lecturer. Students learn the principles of preparation, implementation and evaluation of animation projects, and then apply the acquired knowledge in practice within two projects: for younger colleagues and for a selected group of recipients from an external institution. During the implementation of the modular subjects, they will acquire skills in promoting projects in a selected social medium. They will expand their workshop skills in selected animation techniques and areas of alternative and artistic education. As part of the module, students will complete an internship in a selected non-governmental organization or local activity center (CAL/MAL/CAS), familiarize themselves with the principles and specifics of the functioning of the selected institution and the documentation kept. They will conduct observation of selected activities and prepare and conduct (after consultation with the internship supervisor) workshops on a specific topic. The condition for passing the internship is obtaining a certificate of completion of the internship and preparing a portfolio documenting the experience gained. Objectives of the pedagogical internship:
• expanding knowledge acquired during studies and developing skills in using it in the field of using various animation techniques,
• developing skills in designing events in the space of alternative and artistic education,
• learning about the organization of work of various types of non-governmental and local government institutions, especially those in which graduates can find employment,
• acquiring skills in designing, conducting and documenting classes,
• acquiring skills in reflective analysis of the work of the educator/animator and class participants during joint discussion of internships by internship supervisors and students,
• acquiring skills in analyzing one's own work and its effects and the work of class participants,
• improving skills in using a foreign language in professional situations.
The module implements standards D (D.1 Didactics of a subject or classes) - Animation of task groups (30h Proj); D.2 - professional internships - Professional internship in a non-governmental organization (30h Pr).
