Assessment criteria
The condition of taking the modular exam (MBS) is passing the lecture (colloquium) and exercises (the form of credit is determined by the tutor).
The modular exam grade is the arithmetic average of three partial grades:
- evaluation of the lecture on cultural anthropology,
- evaluation of the lecture on the methodology of social research,
- evaluation of exercises (cultural anthropology or methodology of social research)
To get credit for cultural anthropology exercises, students are required to:
substantive conversation and activity / discussions / around problems raised during classes; reliable knowledge of the content of the reading, disclosed during discussions / conversations in class, class attendance (a maximum of two absences per semester is allowed); passing a test or writing an anthropological essay.
Obtaining a very good grade from exercises frees the student from the anthropological part of the modular exam. The criterion for obtaining a very good grade from exercises is set by the teacher.
The anthropological part of the modular exam in full-time studies will have an oral form. The scope of the exam includes material from lectures and exercises. The student receives two partial grades from the exam (one from the lecture, the other from the exercises). From these assessments, as well as from partial assessment from the methodology of social research (lecture / test) the modular average and final assessment will be drawn.
Grading scale:
4.76 - 5.00 (very good)
4.33 - 4.75 (db)
3.76 - 4.32 (db)
3.33 - 3.75 (dst)
3.00 - 3.32 (dst)
below 3.00 (ndst)
In extramural studies, the modular exam will have a written form. Students answer three questions:
- question from the lecture on the methodology of social research
- question from the lecture on cultural anthropology
- exercise question (anthropology or methodology, depending on the choice of seminar).
The grading system for written assignments is the same as for full-time studies.
