MNP-Adult Education - seminar 2300-MNP-A-K
The classes are designed to familiarize students with the basic concepts and issues specific for adults. The program of classes concerns the issues such as adulthood, development concept, development phases in adulthood, determinants of adult education activity, lifelong learning, and comparative analysis of adult education systems in selected countries.

1. Knowledge:
Student
- knows the main trends in the development of andragogical theory and the practice of adult education in Poland and abroad;
- understands the essence of forms and methods of adult education;
-knows how to use educational guidance;
-knows the characteristic features of the educational needs of contemporary participants of adult education.
2. Skills:
Student
- carries out the basics of self-education in accordance to the assumptions of continuing education;
- can indicate the basic literature to learn the principles of andragogy;
- has an orientation regarding the current offer of the education market for adults;
- can use techniques of organizing his own time and career planning learned during classes (creating a behavioral self-portrait)
3. Social skills:
Student
- is aware of various types of crisis situations occurring in the life of an adult;
- Reflectively analyzes the experiences, both his/her own and other members of the discussion in the context of knowledge about the development of an adult

- Presence in the classes
- Written final test - open questions - 5 open questions for which student provides answers. A minimum 3 correct answers are required to pass the subject.
