Modern Technologies in Didactics 2300-MNN-NTD
The course is designed to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the application of modern digital tools, with particular emphasis on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in planning didactic activities for children and adolescents. The competences acquired throughout the course are intended to significantly reduce teachers’ workload while enhancing the effectiveness of their teaching. The course also addresses common concerns regarding the use of AI by showcasing its potential in the creation of personalized teaching materials, allowing for the customization of instruction based on learners' individual needs. The course supports the development of skills necessary to create more engaging, attractive, and diverse educational approaches, thereby contributing to the improvement of educational quality and addressing the challenges of the modern school environment.
Course topics:
1. Introduction to the ethical use of digital tools and AI in education
2. Creating effective prompts for educational use of AI
3. Designing lesson plans using AI tools
4. Creating multimedia presentations and educational materials using Canva and AI
5. Generating illustrations and graphic content with AI (Canva and other tools)
6. Composing educational songs using the Suno app
7. Developing interactive avatars and avatars from photos (for use in presentations and educational videos)
8. Creating video presentations using avatars (e.g. Synthesia, HeyGen)
9. Automated translation and adaptation of educational videos for various language groups
10. Designing a custom GPT Chatbot for educational purposes (quizzes, lesson plans, educational games, stories for children and youth)
11. Using educational platforms (e.g., Genially, Wordwall, LearningApps) for lesson design
