Alternative education module 2 2300-MEA2
The module combines theory and practice, introducing students to selected models of alternative education. It consists of three components: adventure pedagogy, forest education and the Montessori model. Students learn the principles and methods of working in these approaches, analyze their impact on the development of children and young people and acquire skills in using alternative teaching methods. Classes are conducted both in classrooms and in the field - including in the forest space, where participants experience educational practices in the open air. The module also includes a tour of alternative schools, during which students observe different educational models in practice. Their task is to develop a portfolio presenting the institutions they have learned, analyze their specificity and reflect on the possibilities of implementing alternative methods in formal and informal education.
