Lectures of a conversational nature focus on the following groups of issues:
I. Basic concepts of pedagogy and educational policy.
II. Sources of alternative education.
III. Alternative education in the context of universality and compulsory education.
IV. Selected concepts and models of alternative education as an inspiration for contemporary educational solutions (including: M. Montessori, R. Steiner, C. Freinet, H. Parkhurst, J-O. Decroly, A. S. Neill, W. H. Kilpatrick, P. Petersen, M. Fourestier, K. Hahn, H. Lietz, T. Łopuszański).
V. Elite schools in the world – alternative education or social need.

c) selects methods, forms and teaching resources consistent with the didactic goals of selected alternative education systems.

a) critically analyzes the course of the upbringing and education process in the area of alternative education.
b) assesses the effectiveness of alternative education assumptions in solving didactic and educational problems in order to improve one's own pedagogical workshop.
Assessment criteria
Attendance and activity during classes. 2 unexcused absences and 4 excused absences are allowed (above 6 absences the subject is failed).
Fulfillment of the attendance requirement.
Written test during the last or penultimate class.
Designing an original alternative education system in accordance with the conditions and educational goals indicated by the examiner.
