The history of alternative thought in education 2300-MEA1-HMA
Alternative education has emerged in the past. The idea of a humanities school that could educate those willing and able regardless of their social background was a response to medieval education. Scientific demonstrations, popular during the Enlightenment, were an interesting incentive to explore experimental sciences, and state ceremonies were intended to educate society. Secret teaching was a response to the imposed, foreign educational system. We will learn the causes and effects of their appearance

In terms of knowledge, the student knows and understands:
1. the most important historical positions, theories and practical solutions of alternative education, with their origins, premises and consequences (K1_W01)
2. the history, principles of creation and operation of selected pedagogical phenomena from the area of alternative education. (K1_W06)
In terms of skills, the graduate is able to:
1 analyze pedagogical achievements from the area of alternative education, taking into account the historical context (K1_U03)
In terms of social competences, the graduate is ready to:
1. critically evaluate the knowledge they have in the field of alternative education, taking into account the historical context (K1_K01)
Assessment criteria
Attendance at classes (2 unexcused absences allowed)
Activity during classes
Preparation of a presentation with a paper in teams of several people
Passing the test
Credit based on: attendance, active participation, presentation of a prepared presentation during classes, obtaining 51% of points in the colloquium.
