Gerontology module 2300-F-MG
Optimizing the natural aging process requires an interdisciplinary approach. By learning about the topics foreseen in the individual subjects that make up the gerontological module, students gain knowledge about aging as a multidimensional phenomenon. In this approach, the biological dimension of late adulthood is a framework for discussing specific issues related to life expectancy and the nature of human activity in its individual phases, and in this context for the formulation of justifications for various social policies regarding the phenomenon of aging and various methods of social work. The biographical time described by the lifestyle will be the basis for creating solutions encouraging not only active aging in health but also to constant personal development and perhaps justified in certain cases the extension of professional activity.
