The objective of this course is to provide an in-depth examination of the legal acts governing the functioning of the electricity market. It will encompass a detailed analysis of the solutions prescribed within the European Union legislation concerning the operation of the electricity market, as well as the subsequent implementation of this knowledge into national contexts. The course serves as a complement to the „Functioning of the Electricity Market" subject and aims to present the legal framework within which the market operates. By completing this course, students will possess comprehensive knowledge of the legal framework governing the electricity market and gain a thorough understanding of the impact this framework has on its operation.
