International air and space law 2200-BS034S
International air law consists of three systems - Chicago-bilateral system, Warsaw-Montreal system and Tokyo-Hague-Montreal-Beijing system (the system of international criminal air law). The EU air law will be discussed as well. The main issues are the legal status of airspace and the rules of its use by air carrier, broadly understood passenger rights and related to them issues of the legal liability of air carriers. The process of liberalization of air transport in the European Union will also be presented, among others the rules on the licensing of air carriers, their access to routes within the European Union, air fares and the allocation of operations times at airports. Issues of application of competition law in air transport are also discussed.
Within the framework of international space law, the following issues will be discussed: the legal status of the space, the rules of activity of states and other entities in this environment, legal aspects of the use of satellite technologies.
