Workshops on the General part of the law of obligations 2200-1W126S
The workshop will include a practical discussion of key institutions from the general part of contract law. Students will have the opportunity to learn how the key institutions of the general contract law are applied in practice, such as, m.in. unjust enrichment, performance of a preliminary contract, the institution of exploitation, contractual penalty, the principles of liability for the so-called prenatal damage, liability for entrusting the performance of activities (Article 429 of the Civil Code) and liability for a subordinate (Article 430 of the Civil Code), the principles of compensation for violation of family ties or violations of personal rights (Article 448 of the Civil Code).

Learning outcomes
Familiarization with the application of the institution of the general part of contract law in practice.
Assessment criteria
The evaluation will cover presentations during the workshops, a positive attitude to workshops in the general part of the contract law manifested in preparation for classes and correct answers to the teacher's questions, as well as general activity during classes, including discussions. The student should know individual institutions and normative acts in the scope of the general part of the law of obligations, have knowledge of basic legal constructions, taking into account the position of doctrine and case law.
