It involves developing research skills and working with academic literature focused on the topic that the student intends to analyze in their research project. The classes provide an opportunity to present the results of one’s own work. The specific topics of individual sessions are selected according to the interests and needs of the seminar participants. In the second semester, the classes focus on the issues chosen by the participants for analysis as part of their diploma theses.

Learning outcomes
The student learns the principles related to preparing diploma theses. They formulate the aim of the master’s thesis and the research problem they intend to solve. They have knowledge regarding the acquisition and use of sources necessary for the master’s thesis. They are able to select appropriate research methods for the issue that is the subject of the diploma thesis. They know and can identify the basic problems in the subject area related to their diploma thesis.
Assessment criteria
Active participation in class and preparation for classes are required.
