The course will be analyzed following areas of concern:
The business environment (ease of doing business in the European Union countries, analysis of the individual Member States of the European Union), Type of business enterprises in the European Union (distribution, manufacturing, services, consulting, etc.), The procedure for creating a business enterprises (starting business), Benchmarks for establishment of business enterprises , bodies with powers to establish the business enterprises, the registration of the business enterprises - the necessary documents and registration procedure, Business Management (project management in the company, management systems and business processes, components effective operation, Human Resource Management in the company, leadership in the company), Marketing in the company (The company and its objectives, brand the company as a source of advantage of the company, customer relations, planning, direct marketing, sales management, advertising campaigns, public relations activity, E-Business), Finance in the company (getting credit for business, Protecting investors, Paying taxes, accounting in the company, financial liquidity and so on), Negotiations in Business (enforcing contracts, trading across borders, resolving insolvency, lobbying in the business).

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
a) in terms of knowledge: has knowledge of the structure and conditions for implementing the European Union policy; has knowledge of the economic and social aspects of the integration of EU Member States, including various forms of conducting business activity and related aspects of entrepreneurship; knows and understands the basic concepts, principles and legal standards and ethical aspects applicable to the economy (K_W16, K_W19, K_W21);
b) in terms of skills: is able to search, analyze, evaluate and select and use information on the European Union in the area of conducting business activity in Europe; has the ability to analyze the structures and institutions of the EU, in particular political, economic aspects at the national and supranational level (K_U03, K_U07);
c) in terms of social competences: participates in civic initiatives and projects and verifies their impact on socio-political and economic aspects, including, among others, assessing creativity and entrepreneurship in searching for and creating, among others, new jobs (K_K06, K_K08).

During the course are used in diverse, complementary working methods.
Final rating is a weighted average of the partial assessments within the subject:
1) The activity assessed on each class;
2) Lecture problem - preparing presentations;
3) Workshops.
