K_W05: the student knows and understands to an advanced level the administrative structure of the EU and the normative and functional-structural conditions of the competences of EU authorities and their mutual relations
K_W10: the student knows and understands to an advanced degree the features of legal and social norms constituting and regulating European institutions, their specificity, evolution and impact on human behaviour
K_W12: the student knows and understands to an advanced level the views on EU structures and institutions and the current functioning of the European Union and the sources of these views
K_U01: the student is able to observe, interpret, analyze and describe social processes and phenomena, including the relationships between phenomena and processes in the political and administrative sphere in the EU
K_U02: the student is able to use the conceptual framework and nomenclature of institutions and procedures in the EU
K_U03: the student is able to analyze the conditions and mechanisms of functioning of selected EU institutions and use theoretical knowledge about the mechanisms of functioning of the EU to solve problems in the workplace, such as EU institutions
K_U04: the student is able to forecast social processes and phenomena and their practical effects using standard methods and tools appropriate for social sciences, in particular in relation to the socio-political phenomena of the European Union
K_U05: the student is able to use selected norms and rules appropriate for selected EU institutions in order to properly manage and lead the institution and its affairs and solve tasks within the scope of their competences
K_U07: the student is able to formulate and solve research problems using the knowledge acquired during studies; use appropriately selected methods, techniques and tools, as well as test hypotheses related to simple research problems in the field of study
K_U08: the student is able to develop and present the results of scientific research and use them to analyze and solve scientific problems relevant to European studies
K_U09: the student is able to prepare works individually and collectively in Polish on political issues of the European Union using basic concepts and theoretical approaches as well as various sources of information relevant to European studies

K_K03: the student is ready to initiate and define priorities for the implementation of tasks defined by himself and others relating to social goals and public interest - within the scope of EU institutions
K_K04: the student is ready to correctly identify and resolve basic dilemmas related to performing work in EU institutions
Assessment criteria
Annual work (classes) and a written exam consisting of 10 open questions (lecture).
