Learning outcomes
Student knows and understands:
the political and socio-economic background of existing problems in Europe as well as the role of political and social actors in the decision-making process in context of contemporary crises in Europe (K_W02, K_W06, K_W12).
Student is able to:
define the nature of contemporary crises in Europe; analyze existing research on the matter of European crisis phenomena and find out the possible scenarios of its development (K_U02, K_U03, K_U04).
Student is ready to:
identify the causes of European dilemmas as well as initiate and participate in projects aimed at solving contemporary problems in Europe(K_K02, K_K03)
Assessment criteria
Evaluation criteria:
max. two missed classes
activity in class discussion: 20 points;
opinion essays: 30 points;
final test: 50 points.
