History of Polish diplomacy 2104-M-D2HDPL-DW
The lecture deals with the issues of the development of Polish diplomacy since the beginning of the Piast state by the end of the Second Republic, with particular emphasis on the most important diplomatic successes and failures in successive historical periods the ruling of the Piastow dynasty, Andegawen and the first Jagiellons (Wladyslaw Jagiello, Wladyslaw Jagiellonczyk), the ruling of Kazimierz Jagiellonczyk, the last Jagiellons (Zygmunt Stary i Zygmunt August), kings chosen by election (from Henryk Walezy to Jan III Sobieski) during the personal union with Saxony in the years 1763-1794. The Polish diplomacy in the years 1795-1831, between the uprisings, and in the years 1860-1914 as well as during the second Republic.
