Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the unit:
- Student knows and understands the most important facts, phenomena and problems related to the functioning of selected types of socio-economic systems in the modern world (K_W01);
- Student knows and understands the differences in the organisation of socio-economic systems in particular countries and the resulting different roles of the state in the economy (K_W03);
- Student is able to correctly interpret the mechanisms of the state's influence on the economy;
- Student is able to correctly interpret the mechanisms of state influence on the economy and classify socio-economic systems (K_U01);
- Student is ready to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of state intervention in economic processes (K_K01);
- Student is ready to critically evaluate the functioning of socio-economic systems of selected countries (K_K02).
Assessment criteria
- Regular completion of assignments on the google classroom platform - 50% (50 points) of the final mark;
- Passing the final test - 50% (50 points) of the final mark;
- Need to achieve a pass mark (above 60% marks) in all assessment components.
