Learning outcomes
After this course, the student knows and understands
- well international relations as part of the discipline of political science and administration;
- threats and challenges typical of contemporary international relations and international security;
- contemporary European processes, functioning of European institutions, role, strengths and weaknesses of main European structures.
Can:
- apply various techniques, including information and communication techniques in order to pose advanced problems, questions and research hypotheses;
- search for innovative solutions to the research problems posed; interpret and analyze European politics.
He is ready to:
- prepare research and practical social projects related to the area of international relations, using the knowledge acquired during studies and being able to supplement it, as well as effectively cooperating with other people, including acquiring knowledge from experts;
- correctly identify and resolve dilemmas related to work in public administration, international business, international institutions (including intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations), respecting professional ethics.
Assessment criteria
First attempt (during the last class): test (20 multiple-choice questions)
Second attempt (during the exam session): oral exam.
