The subject focuses on discussing the place of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization and ESG standards in enterprise operations:
1. The concept of corporate social responsibility in theoretical terms.
2. Legal and institutional conditions for carrying out activities in the field of corporate social responsibility.
3. Corporate social responsibility activities aimed at the internal environment - examples.
4 Corporate social responsibility activities aimed at the external environment (market, public, local, civic, natural) - examples.
5. Employer branding strategy in the organization from a theoretical perspective.
6. Employer branding strategy in the organization - examples.
7. Creating and measuring the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility and employer branding strategies.
8. ESG standards (Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance) from a theoretical and legal perspective.
9. ESG reporting - examples.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- has knowledge of theoretical categories used in research on corporate social responsibility, employer branding in organizations, ESG standards;
- has knowledge of the economic, social, legal and ethical conditions for the implementation of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, implementation of ESG standards;
- has knowledge of the importance of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, implementation of ESG standards in relations with public institutions and interest groups and in the process of shaping public policy;
- based on acquired knowledge, is able to formulate, analyze and solve problems related to the functioning of the organization in the context of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, implementation of ESG standards;
- is ready to think and act in an entrepreneurial way for the organization's implementation of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, ESG standards;
- is ready to responsibly and ethically perform professional roles related to the implementation of activities in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, ESG standards.
The classes are intended to ensure the implementation of the following learning outcomes specified in the study program:
The student knows and understands theoretical categories used to implement activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, ESG standards at the level of a given organization (K_W01).
The student knows and understands the economic, social, legal and ethical conditions for the implementation of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in a given organization, ESG standards and the functioning of enterprises in the areas covered by such activities and strategies (K_W06).
The student knows and understands the importance of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, ESG standards in the relations of a given organization with public institutions and interest groups and in the process of shaping public policy (K_W08).
The student is able to formulate, analyze and solve problems related to the functioning of the organization in the context of activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, ESG standards that are implemented by a given organization (K_U02).
The student is ready to think and act in an entrepreneurial way to create and implement activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in a given organization, implementation of ESG standards (K_K02)
The student is ready to responsibly and ethically perform professional roles regarding activities and strategies in the field of corporate social responsibility, employer branding in the organization, implementation of ESG standards in a given organization (K_K03).
Assessment criteria
Assessment methods and criteria:
Recording the activity of participants of classes in a stationary form as part of individual statements and discussions. Application of comparative analysis and case study. Taking into account the level of knowledge of readings relating to particular topics of classes.
Assessment based on 4 elements:
1. level of activity during classes,
2. participating in discussions and analysis of cases during classes,
3. preparation and presentation of a case study in the field of corporate social responsibility,
4. passing the written exam.
If a student has more than two absences, it is necessary to report the absence to the teacher's office within two weeks of the absence. If there are more than 4 absences, the student is not classified in the course. If the third or fourth absence is not counted, the absence will also result in non-classification.
