Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- knows and understands the essence of human resources management in an organization,
- knows and understands theories describing norms and rules regarding human resources management in organizations, as well as the conditions and consequences of their application,
- is able to assess human resources management processes in the organization,
- is able to build, manage and act as part of a task team dealing with activities in the field of human resources management,
- is ready to critically evaluate their knowledge and take into account the opinions of experts in the field of human resources management.
The classes will be used to achieve the following learning outcomes specified in the study program:
The student knows and understands the basic directions, principles, methods and techniques of human resources management in a given organization (K_W01).
The student knows and understands the essence of the human resources management process and the main elements and stages of creating an HRM program in a given company (K_W03).
The student is able to assess the processes taking place in the area of human resources management in a given organization and manage their course (K_U04).
The student is able to build and manage a task team in the area of achieving human resources management goals in a given organization, as well as cooperate actively with the people creating such a team (K_U08).
The student is ready to critically assess his knowledge in the field of human resources management in a given organization and to take into account experts in determining priorities in the implementation of specific tasks in this area (K_K02).
Assessment criteria
Attendance, active participation in classes, final paper.
If a student has more than two absences, it is necessary to report the absence to the teacher's office within two weeks of the absence. If there are more than 4 absences, the student is not classified in the course. If the third or fourth absence is not counted, the absence will also result in non-classification.
Final thesis: report analyzing selected aspects of human resources management in the organization, approx. 30 slides in the form of a presentation. Report format: digital, sent as a PDF file
Implementation of tasks - activity as a group project team.
Practical placement
Apprenticeship is not required
