European Social Fund in Poland 2103-ORP-L-D6EFSP
During the course, students will learn the basic concepts and terms related to the functioning of the structural policy of the European Union, as well as gain knowledge about the institutional order associated with the implementation of structural funds in Poland, taking into account the entities that can implement projects financed from the EU budget. The primary effects of structural funds intervention and good practices in this area will be indicated during the class. As a result of completed classes, students will know the areas of support and the scope of intervention in the labor market, which the EU budget can support. The classes develop students' basic skills in implementing projects subsidized by the European Union funds in the labor market area. After completing the course, students should indicate in detail the factors that determine the correct creation of grant applications, including knowledge of project management techniques used to determine the objectives, schedule, and project budget creation. During individual classes, students will be introduced to the construction of a grant application and work in project groups on its preparation. The course will characterize the basic categories related to the construction of a grant application, such as the criteria for formal and substantive evaluation, as well as basic concepts associated with creating a project budget (eligible and non-eligible costs, own contribution, and others).
