Professional internships are aimed at expanding theoretical knowledge with practical professional experience obtained at the place where the internship is organized. Students have the opportunity to see the importance of the acquired knowledge, especially in the practical dimension of solving tasks. Professional internships allow you to develop your competences, including interpersonal skills. Their aim is to familiarize the student with the functioning of the organizational structure, principles of work organization and division of competences, procedures, planning process, as well as work control. After completing the internship, the student identifies and resolves dilemmas related to performing professions in the field of organizing the labor market. Is able to assess and manage processes taking place in the area of work and the labor market, being aware of the normative nature of the choices made. Is able to use for practical purposes knowledge in the field of labor sciences to analyze and interpret social processes and phenomena occurring in the area of work and the labor market.

non applicableThe student is able to use for practical purposes knowledge in the field of labor sciences to analyze and interpret social processes and phenomena taking place in the workplace where the internship is carried out (K_U01).
The student is able to use the acquired knowledge in the field of labor sciences to indicate the causes of the occurrence and course of social processes and phenomena taking place in the workplace where the internship is carried out (K_U02).
Based on the knowledge acquired, the student is able to evaluate and manage the processes taking place in the workplace where the internship is carried out, being aware of the normative nature of the choices made (K_U04).
The student is ready to practically use knowledge in the field of social sciences, labor sciences, etc. in professional activity at the workplace, where he carries out internships (K_K01).
The student is ready to critically evaluate his/her knowledge and take into account the opinions of colleagues in the priorities in the implementation of specific tasks in the workplace where he/she carries out internships (K_K02).
The student is ready to prepare research and practical projects related to the field of work and the labor market in the workplace where he or she carries out internships (K_K03).
The student is ready to adopt an active attitude and initiate actions, appropriately planning the tasks undertaken and solving problems occurring during their implementation in the workplace where the internship is carried out (K_K04).
Assessment criteria
The course ends with a final grade.
The condition for obtaining a pass is to complete 240 hours of student internship with an employer (enterprise/institution). The nature of the tasks performed during the student internship should be consistent with the field of study. Credit for the internship is based on presenting a certificate of completion of the student internship issued by the organizer of the internship.
The grade is based on the grades issued by the employer on the student internship certificate form, i.e. based on the validation of learning outcomes.
