The issue discussed in detail are immigration policy instruments used to control access to the labor market (e.g. labor market test, point and quota systems, "fast tracks" and selective incentives for selected types of immigrants, time limits).

Issues related to integration policy are also an important part of the classes. Students learn concepts such as multiculturalism, integration, assimilation, ethnocentrism, stereotype, prejudice, social distance (Bogardus scale), and then instruments of integration policy and dilemmas related to its implementation, this topic is complemented by MIPEX.
The practical reference of the theories discussed is the analysis of the migration policy of Poland and selected countries in relation to the current situation and in a historical perspective.
