K_W02: knows and understands - on the basis of found data - types, manifestations, structure and dynamics of social problems
K_U01: is able - analysing found data - to interpret social phenomena, accurately recognising social problems, social issues
and social risks, and is able to indicate their economic and socio-demographic conditions
K_U02: able - using available data - to critically analyse social programmes and actions of social policy in various scales
and domains
K_U04: able to design and implement a simple social survey in the field of social policy, selecting correctly the sources of found data
K_U05: is able to design social indicators needed to design and evaluate a social programme or social intervention.
K_U06: is able to produce written analyses in the field of social policy, selecting, elaborating and graphically presenting found data
K_U09: is able to plan and organise his/her own work,

Assessment criteria
- written test (test of knowledge and skills under controlled conditions)
- written work (independent analytical work prepared on the basis of found data)
- continuous evaluation of activity (including the performance of optional work)
- attendance check
The final grade is determined by the number of points obtained from the evaluation of the various tasks performed in the course. In the case of written assignments and knowledge tests, a minimum number of points is required to pass. Absences can be credited on an individual basis. Points are deducted from the final total for absences not passed.
Practical placement
Apprenticeships are not required.
