The genealogy of world constitutionalism (including Polish) and the dynamics of changes occurring in it, theological inspirations of constitutionalism, constitutionalism as a monarchical idea, constitutionalism as the emancipation of reason, modern constitutionalism and its "McDonaldization", criticism and crisis of constitutionalism, and postmodern constitutional.

Learning outcomes
After the course, the student gains knowledge about the
genealogy of world constitutionalism (including Polish) and the dynamics of changes occurring in it. Student has in-depth knowledge about individual conceptual categories relating to constitutionalism. Understands the universal and national conditions of constitutionalism. Knows and understands the mechanisms of global constitutionalism.
Assessment criteria
Continuous assessment - activity during classes and writing an essay. The final grade is the result of activity during classes and the grade from the essay.
