Learning outcomes
The student:
- knows criteria of classifying electoral systems (K_W06);
- lists features of the electoral systems in contemporary democracies and sees the mutual relations between them and the functioning of the political system (K_K05; K_W06);
- analysis basic constitutional models of governance systems in modern democracies and knows how to publicly present the advantages and disadvantages of particular elements (K_U01; K_W06);
- compares the constitutional basis of the system of government in Great Britain, the United States of America, the 5th French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Swiss Confederation and Russia and can discuss them in a group (K_U01; K_W06).
