Learning outcomes
KNOWLEDGE:
1. The student knows the normative material that determines the legal framework for communication in the profession of a journalist and an employee / officer of services responsible for internal security;
2. The student has the knowledge to independently analyze the press material (text and audiovisual material) from the point of view of its legality;
3. The student knows the standards of journalistic reliability and objectivity;
4. The student knows the rules of providing press information for employees / officers of institutions responsible for internal security;
5. The student knows the ethical standards that determine the appropriate framework for providing information to media representatives.
6. The student knows the rules of cooperation with journalists in situations of taking actions / interventions by individuals, a team of people or subunits representing internal security institutions.
1. The student is able to independently analyze the behavior in specific situations related to communication from the point of view of compliance with the law;
2. The student is able to independently decide on the scope of content and possible forms of answering a question to the journalist;
3. The student is able to write a correction and authorize the interview;
4. The student can write critical texts within the limits of legality and responses to press criticism;
5. The student is able to prepare a media security plan for the activities of representatives responsible for internal security.
