The student knows and understands:
KW03 in-depth shaping, strategic planning and implementing the public policy process

KW08 management and co-management of the public policy process and mechanisms for making public decisions

KW11 processes of socio-economic development, including the importance of various forms of entrepreneurship for this development
The student knows and understands the principles, purpose and methodology of project management. The student has knowledge of various detailed public policies, is able to indicate and propose projects that will complement these policies. The student knows the principles, factors and conditions of project implementation (also financed from domestic and foreign sources, e.g. the EU).
Skills
After the course, the student is able to:
KU02 strategically design and organize the public policy process, including searching for innovative ways to implement public policy tasks
KU09 cooperate with other people within a task team, assuming various roles in it, including having team management skills
After the course, the student is able to strategically design projects and undertakings, organize the public policy process, including searching for innovative ways to implement public policy tasks, also in the form of information, educational, implementation projects. For this purpose, the student uses, among others, project management, creates project concepts that meet diagnosed needs. The student is able to work independently, in pairs or a larger group, present and discuss the results of their work.
Social competences
The graduate is ready to:
KK02 inspire, initiate and participate in the process of creating and evaluating public policy in various scales and fields, including designing, presenting and implementing own solutions based on analysis and experience
KK03 correctly identify and resolve dilemmas related to work in the area of public policy, both as scientific and practical activity; is ready to responsibly perform a professional role, including developing achievements in the area of public policy
KK05 think and act in an entrepreneurial manner, especially in relation to initiating and organizing activities for the public good
The student is ready to inspire, initiate and participate in the process of creating and evaluating projects, also in the area of public policy, social policy. Has competences in the design, course and completion of project implementation. Can present their work and implement their own solutions based on their own and others' analyses and experiences.
