The student knows and understands:
- functioning of various types of spatial structures (social, economic, natural, political) in relation to selected elements, on a local, regional, national or global scale. (K_W02)
- principles (theoretical) of the functioning of various types of international, state, local government and social institutions and organizations operating in the area of spatial management at the local, regional and national level. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of evaluation of institutions and processes of local and regional development and space management (K_W03)
- in an in-depth manner, selected methods, techniques and tools used to solve complex tasks in the field of spatial management, including data acquisition techniques and modeling of spatial structures and processes, as well as identifying the regularities governing them (K_W06)

The student is ready to:
- participate in the preparation of space management projects and are able to predict the multidirectional, social, environmental and other effects of their activities. Is aware of responsibility for decisions made (K_K01)
- to consciously fulfill one's social role, and especially understands the need to formulate and provide the public with information and opinions on various aspects of spatial management in a generally understandable way (K_K07)
