Fieldwork focuses on identification and diagnosis of socio-economic geography problems. The result of the work is a report containing the results of the conducted research and a proposal for solving the discussed problem.
Fieldwork is conducted in a selected district of Warsaw or a municipality outside of Warsaw.
During the class, the student uses the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired in other classes. Specialized training is provided in the skills of preparing a research project, conceptualizing and operationalizing it using qualitative and quantitative methods. The scope of methods will depend on the specific research topic chosen. The results of the conducted research can be presented to external institutions.

In terms of KNOWLEDGE:
The student knows research methods and their application, can correctly choose a research method for the research topic, data availability, and research conditions; knows the principles of designing and conducting field research.
In terms of SKILLS: the student can:
- formulate research problems,
- conduct field research independently,
- enter information into databases,
- perform analytical work and prepare research reports,
- work in a team, agree on a common position, submit one's own proposals,
- present the results of the study to the group, also in the presence of representatives of external institutions.

3. Preparing the final report and/or presentation of the research results.
