(in Polish) Research Ethics: Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Research 1800-SZD-NP-ETWAR-3
The workshop is a part of the course on “Research ethics”.
It covers following topics: data ownership and control; data
creep; data anonymization, pseudonymization and privacy
protection; data sharing and data co-controllership; secondary
use of data; the social consequences of data use in research;
prevention of dual use and misuse of research results; data
commodification and commercialization; algorithmic bias and
discrimination, explainable AI.
Intended audience: doctoral students involved in research in
information science, cognitive science, and psychological and
social aspects of the use of information technologies.

THE GRADUATE KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS

Assessment criteria
Workshops are passed (or failed) on the basis of the student’s
activity (participation in group works, class discussions, etc).
Failure to pass one or both of the workshops makes it
impossible to take the final test, and, as a result, to get a credit
for the course “Research ethics”
