Sources of information about socio-economic processes 1600-SZD-SPEC-ZW-GSE
During the course of the workshop, sources of knowledge about social and economic entities, phenomena and processes will be identified, both existing (information resources and institutional practices, available databases, periodicals, literature on the subject, primary sources, obligatory reports of organizations, rankings, iconographic and audiovisual materials, social media, etc. ), as well as induced (expert opinions, surveys, standardized interviews, thematic forums, etc.) Each type of source – with examples – will be presented and discussed by the class participants, and the quality of the source, its reliability and usefulness for scientific research will be critically evaluated.

Assessment criteria
Description of requirements related to participation in classes, including the
permitted number of explained absences: class participants should actively participate in all forms of workshop exchange of thoughts (presentation – discussion – criticism), should attend at least 80% of classes (4 meetings), one excused absence is allowed
Principles for passing the classes and the subject (including resit session): the basis for passing the class is: 1. attendance at at least 4 meetings; 2. active participation in the class (presentation – discussion – criticism)
Methods for the verification of learning outcomes: ongoing observation and analysis of the intellectual activity presented by the class participants (individual involvement in the presentation, discussion and criticism parts)
Evaluation criteria: the quality of the participants’ involvement in each part of the class (presentation, discussion, criticism) will be evaluated; the validity and relevance of the statements, inventiveness in argumentation, accurate criticism, originality in identifying sources of knowledge
