The history of university education in Poland 1600-SZD-SPEC-UP-PED
The history of university education in Poland. Doctoral students will learn about the functioning of Polish universities from the Middle Ages to the 19th century (Krakow, Vilnius, Lviv, Warsaw). The subject of detailed considerations will be the University of Vilnius in the years 1773-1803 and its functioning in the context of other Polish and European universities. Attention will be paid to its structural and program changes and school legislation, as well as the professorial staff and students. An important thread will also be showing the influence of tsarist policy on the work of universities during the partitions. Content related to the establishment of the University of Warsaw will also be discussed.

Assessment criteria
Description of requirements related to participation in classes, including the permitted number of explained absences: Attendance at classes (2 absences allowed), passing a written test.

session): Attendance at classes (2 absences allowed), passing a written test (closed questions). Improvement of the pass: closed question test.
Methods for the verification of learning outcomes: Participation in lectures (attendance), passing a written test (closed questions)
