Review of the latest research in local studies 1600-SZD-SPEC-PB-GSE
The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the latest scientific literature published and discussed in the context of local studies. Local studies is an interdisciplinary field of research combining issues of economics, sociology, political science, geography and law. Their common element is the analysis of issues related to public management at the local and regional level and socio-economic development at the local and regional level. The selection of literature for this course varies depending on current theoretical and empirical trends in the field. The most important consideration in selecting literature is the broad range of issues addressed in local studies and their popularity among scholars currently engaged in local studies.
