New Trends in Political Communication – a Comparative Approach 1600-SZD-SPEC-NT-PA
During the classes, the current trends in political communication in democratic countries will be analyzed. The basis of the classes will be referencing current election campaigns in the context of the tools, forms, and content used by the candidates (candidates, political parties, political institutions, and of course, electoral committees). We will focus on phenomena that go beyond traditional political communication mechanisms such as television political advertising or classic public relations mechanisms

Assessment criteria
Methods for the verification of learning outcomes: Principles for passing the classes and the subject (including resit session): Activity during classes – readiness to discuss, ask questions, and seek answers. The condition for passing the subject will be preparing an analysis of an innovative element of a selected election campaign or another form of political communication
Evaluation criteria: written assignment
