Etnography and ethnology - qualitative research 1600-SZD-SPEC-EBJ-KM
The course goals are to recognise and experience qualitative research from the perspective of ethnographic and ethnological methodologies. What’s at stake are classical solutions and theories regarding cultural analysis alongside methodologies at the stage of 1) designing and creating research (selection of research methods and data acquisition) and 2) conducting quality analysis (presentation of research results). Participants design and conduct the physical space analysis considering behaviours and artefacts (environment, art, identification). Among the salient questions to be addressed is how research and ethnographic methods affect the results of qualitative research in the social sciences?
