The course will cover the following topics:
- Qualitative methods in organization studies: when, why and how to use qualitative approach
- Different paradigms and schools of qualitative studies
- Research problems in qualitative studies
- Designing qualitative studies,
- How to collect data in qualitative studies
- Selected methods of data analysis and interpretation
- How to write texts based on qualitative studies: selected approaches
- Challenges and pitfalls in qualitative studies
- Assessment of the quality of the study. Ethical considerations in qualitative investigations.

WG_1 - world achievements, covering theoretical foundations as well as general issues and selected specific issues of a given scientific or artistic discipline, to a degree allowing revision of existing paradigms

Assessment criteria

Active participation is required due to interactive character of the course. Two explained absences are allowed.

b) prepare a final project (written form + presentation).

evaluation criteria
The quality of the project will be evaluated on the base of: meting formal requirements, using best practices presented during the course, meeting ethical standards in the field, demonstrating fluency in methods used for the project.
