Individual methodological workshop 1600-SZD-N-IWM-ZJ
Individual methodological workshops are designed to help prepare doctoral students for independent teaching in a higher education institution. The doctoral student develops and teaches the course in the presence of the subject coordinator(s) in a particular discipline. One hour of individual consultations is to help prepare the class and another hour is to discuss the class. An obligatory subject for doctoral students from the Doctoral School of Social Sciences.
The doctoral student teaches 2 hours of classes with students in the presence of coordinator(s); further 2 hours are dedicated to the discussion on the classes by the subject coordinator(s).

Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the student is able to::
• UK_02 - disseminate the results of research activity, also in popular forms
• UK_03 - initiating debates within the field of the social sciences
• UU_1 - independently planning and acting for their own development and inspiring and organising the development of others
• UU_2 - planning and delivering a class or group of classes in a particular discipline of the social sciences, using modern methods and tools
Assessment criteria
description of requirements related to participation in classes, including the
permitted number of explained absences: required attendance for all class hours
principles for passing the classes and the subject (including resit session): preparation and conduct of 2 hours of teaching classes
methods for the verification of learning outcomes; Credit on the basis of the written opinion provided by the coordinator of the subject
evaluation criteria: a non-graded pass course
