Legal teaching methods 1600-SZD-N-DD-PR
The classes are intended to provide participating doctoral students with an introduction to the legal teaching methods, by discussing the scientific nature of law, the multiplicity and dynamics of changing opinions on this subject, differences between law in theory and practice, contemporary challenges (such as e-learning, globalization, internationalization of legal transactions) as well as presenting the most frequently used methods, including their criticism.
During the classes, examples of the application of the analyzed methods will be presented, their assessment by reviewers and experienced teachers, the issue of interdisciplinarity in relation to legal sciences, as well as indicated exemplary literature dedicated to the formal-dogmatic, empirical, historical, comparative and economic analysis of law methods (law & economics). Additionally, case studies selected by the lecturer will be discussed.
During the discussion, participants and lecturers will also exchange thoughts and experiences on the specificity of Polish legal studies, foreign research, domestic academic realities and scientific ethics.

Description of requirements related to participation in classes, including the permitted number of explained absences;
