The aim of the propedeutic workshop is to develop knowledge, skills and social competences, listed below ("learning outcomes"), in relation to the arts studies. The proposed starting point and initial reading is the text by Michał Heller's Uwagi o etyce i metodyce pracy naukowej [Remarks on ethics and methodology of scientific work}.
On this basis, we will discuss how to prepare and conduct interesting and valuable classes in the field of arts research

Goals of the works hop, in relation to the arts studies:
In terms of knowledge, doctoral students know and understand:
- knows and understands the principles of dissemination of the results of research activities, including open access. (P8S_WG.4)
In terms of skills, the doctoral students can:
analyse the possibility of transferring the results of research work to the economic and social sphere (P8S_UW.3)
disseminate research findings, including in popular forms (P8S_UK.2)
initiate debate and participate in scholarly discourse (P8S_UK.3)
plan and act for their own development and inspire and organize the development of others (P8S_UU.1)
prepare and carry out didactic classes and simple training seminars, using modern methods and tools (P8S_UU.2)
In terms of social competence, the doctoral students are prepared to:
carry out the social obligations of researchers and authors (P8S_KO.1)
initiate actions in public interest (P8S_KO.2)
maintain and develop the ethos of the academic and creative environments, including by means of carrying out research independently and respect the principle of public ownership of research results, considering the principles of protection of intellectual property. (P8S_KR.1)
Assessment criteria
Passing on the basis of active participation in classes. The participant will pass the course if the teacher positively verifies the learning outcomes.Contentious cases will be resolved individually, following additional conversation with the student. One absence allowed.
