“Masters’ school” seminar 1500-SZD-SM
Online lectures online provided by researchers known worldwide enable Ph.D. candidates of the Doctoral School of Humanities at the UW to get acquainted with the newest global trends in the humanities. First year Ph.D. candidates propose lectures in the 7 disciplines represented in the School which are to be delivered by specific/chosen researchers. Lectures are then organized according to lecturers’ availability.
Researchers give lectures devoted to specific topics which result from their own research. While providing lectures, researchers focus on the applied methodologies and emphasise innovative solutions and world trends in the disciplines that they represent, as well as interdisciplinary research.
During lectures Ph.D. candidates have a unique chance to discuss all interesting matters with the eminent representatives of the global humanities. Particular Ph.D. candidates representing disciplines are invited to moderate the discussion following the lecture
