(in Polish) Late Antique Seminar II 1500-SI-LAS2
The full programme is published before the beginning of each semester at the seminar website: https://lateantiqueseminar.historia.uw.edu.pl/
The seminar brings together a group of historians, archaeologists, Roman jurists, epigraphists, and classicists sharing interest in Late Antiquity. Any doctoral student conducting research in one of these fields of late antique studies is welcome to join. The seminar meets every Thursday at 4.45 p.m. in the Library of Papyrology and Roman Law (Faculty of Law), University main campus, but Zoom participation is possible as well. Every week a member of UW community or a guest presents a seminar paper, followed by a discussion. This is a classical seminar format, but because of the quality of the audience and speakers from all over the world this is one of the best late antique seminars in Europe and an excellent learning environment for graduate students in late antiquity, Byzantine studies and early medieval history.
