(in Polish) Archaeobotany - theory and practice 1500-SDN-TMTB-ATAP
The research method of archaeobotany will be presented, with particular emphasis on carpology. The course will consist of a theoretical part, in which the goals of archaeobotanical research, sampling methods, documentation, and interpretation of acquired data will be discussed, using selected examples published in renowned journals. The second part of the course will be dedicated to practice with archaeobotanical samples using low-powered microscopes and identification of selected groups of plant macro-remains.

Assessment criteria
Active participation in classes. A short presentation of the doctoral student's own research and the potential benefits of archaeobotanical analysis.
Absence from one hour of classes is allowed.
