Designing and planning research / preparing IRP, grant acquisition and management 1500-SDN-PIPB-NOKIR
The course prepares doctoral students for independent research planning and grant applications. One of the workshop components will be an exercise in writing an Individual Research Plan for each participant within the humanities. The course includes a discussion of the elements of a grant proposal as a specific scientific text. Doctoral students learn the principles of constructing applications and describing aims, outlines, phases, results, and timelines of research projects financed from external sources, their implementation, and settlement. Doctoral students exercise writing research proposals and specifically research applications for grants in the short and long term, alone and as research team members.

WG_04 the graduate knows and understands the principles for dissemination of research results, including by means of the open access mode;
UW_01 the graduate is able to use knowledge from different disciplines in the humanities, to creatively identify, formulate and innovatively solve complex problems or perform research tasks, and, in particular, define the aim and object of research in humanities, especially , select and find sources and studies adequate to the studied problem, develop research methods, techniques, and tools appropriately and apply them creatively; formulate a research hypothesis and infer on the basis of research results;
UO_01 the graduate is able to plan and carry out individual and team research projects, specific to the discipline within the humanities, foe example research grants, also in the international milieu;
UU_01 the graduate is able to plan by oneself and carry out activities for one’s own development, as well as inspire and organise the development of other people.
